When it comes to WordPress hosting, my #1 recommendation is SiteGround.

I’ve been creating stuff online for a long time (what’s up to anyone else who had a Britney fansite in 2001) and I’ve been through my fair share of web hosts. Some I outgrew over time (Dreamhost) and others I practically ran away from screaming (Bluehost.)

SiteGround has surpassed every expectation I’ve had over the last year I’ve been with them.

SiteGround offers three hosting package options: the StartUp plan, GrowBig plan, and GoGeek planI went with their StartUp Shared Hosting Plan because it’s a) cheap, b) reliable, and c) all I need. If you have one or more domain, you will need to go with the GrowBig plan, as the StartUp plan currently only includes ONE domain.

If you’re already with a different web host, SiteGround makes it super easy to transfer your files and WordPress install over. All you have to do is select the free “Website File Transfer” option during checkout – SiteGround customer support will do all the dirty work for you.

Starting out with nothing? No problem. SiteGround has a WordPress auto-installer that will get you going on your way in no time. Once you sign up for your account, sign into your CPanel, and locate the Autoinstallers section. From there, click WordPress, and the SiteGround WordPress Autoinstaller will lead you through the process with three clicks.
